Getting started
Guild Ledger audits every change in your Discord server, runs approval workflows, and keeps a per-guild financial ledger — all from a small set of slash commands.
1. Add the bot
Add Guild Ledger to your server from the Discord App Directory. You need the Manage Server permission in the server you're adding it to.
2. Run /setup
/setup walks you through first-run configuration in a guided, step-by-step wizard:
- Event logging — choose which Discord events are captured and where alerts are sent
- Mod alerts — enable alerts and set the alert channel
- Approvals — configure approval forms and approver roles
- Financial Ledger — set the currency name and treasurer role
- Privacy — configure data retention and privacy options
You can save and quit at any point — progress is preserved, and the wizard picks up exactly where
you left off. After first-run, use /config to revisit any setting at any time.
3. Learn the command surface
