/polls
Requires: Manage Server (members vote via /activity)
/polls is the full poll management hub: create guild polls, watch results come in live, and
close them when the vote is done.
What you can do
- Create — build a poll with a title, description, and vote options
- Poll types — Choice (members pick from a list) or Payout (triggers a ledger transaction when the vote passes)
- Cast votes — members vote via the
/activityhub - View results — see live vote tallies and participation counts
- Close — end a poll and lock in the final result
Payout polls
The Payout poll type integrates with the Financial Ledger: when the vote passes, the configured amount is automatically paid out. This lets a guild vote on treasury spending and have the ledger entry created the moment the result is in — no manual bookkeeping step.
Vote integrity and privacy
One vote per member is enforced, which requires storing who voted and for what. Vote records are retained for 90 days after the poll closes, then automatically deleted — see the Privacy Policy.
