/setup is the guided first-run wizard. It configures every core feature in one pass so the bot is useful immediately — you never have to hunt through settings to get started.

Wizard sections

• Event logging — choose which Discord events are captured and where alerts are sent
• Mod alerts — enable moderation alerts and set the alert channel
• Approvals — configure approval forms and the roles allowed to approve them
• Financial Ledger — set your currency name and assign the treasurer role
• Privacy — configure data retention and privacy options, including the optional message-content and nickname-logging flags (both off by default)

Save and resume

You can save and quit at any point. Progress is preserved, and the next /setup run picks up exactly where you left off — nothing is lost if you're interrupted mid-configuration.

After first-run

/setup is for getting going; /config is the permanent home for every setting. Anything you chose in the wizard can be revisited there at any time, along with advanced options the wizard doesn't cover (webhooks, escalation thresholds, scheduled reports, and data management).
